Oh, summertime in Paris: j’adore. Couples from around the world flock to the “City of Love” for so many reasons: to celebrate an engagement, to pop the big question and propose, to celebrate an anniversary, or to elope with an intimate commitment ceremony. Kieu and Joe – from California, USA – decided to have an intimate elopement, and enlisted the talented officiant, Jean, of Celebrants in France to plan the perfect ceremony for the two, which included their two best friends as witnesses.
The ceremony was held at the gorgeous Chapelle Expiatoire in Paris, a chapel located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France. This chapel is dedicated to Louis XVI and his wife, Marie Antoinette, although they are formally buried in the Basilica of St Denis.
After their lovely and intimate ceremony, we spent the afternoon around Paris photographing the newlyweds. Congratulations, lovebirds. It was such a pleasure to capture your special day! xoxo ~ Lindsey
Feedback from the bride:
“Wow Lindsey, our photos are FANTASTIC! Thank you so much for being our wedding photographer! You did an amazing job and we had so much fun shooting with you.” ~ Kieu and Joe
