Surprise Proposal at Cartier

July 16, 2018 –

“I’m sure you’re going through many sites right now trying to decide if a) a professional photographer is worth it, and b) if Lindsey is the right person for the job. Let me save you some time: emphatically, yes and yes.

The store I bought the ring from in Toronto agreed to help me arrange a surprise proposal in Paris. The idea was to have staff in one of the store’s Paris locations set up a staged “tour” for me and my girlfriend. Lindsey agreed to play the part of the media relations person for the store accompanying us on the tour. She’s as good an actor as she is a photographer ;).

We were scheduled to arrive at the store at 6pm. Lindsey arrived ahead of us and helped the staff set up the champagne, macaroons, flowers and coordinate suitable photo opportunities. The plan was to be given a 15-20 minute tour, then be led to a private room set up with refreshments where the staff would leave, and I’d get down on a knee and make the big ask. Lindsey caught every special moment and the resulting photos were beyond my wildest expectations. It’s like she wasn’t even there. On top of that, she has so many creative ideas, knows what to do and what will look good, how to make people comfortable, and has a kind, friendly demeanour that just makes you like her instantly.

My fiancée looks back to the photos and gets emotional every time. She said she never would have thought to hire a photographer to capture our moment but she’s so happy that I did, and that it was Lindsey.

I’m a regular guy giving you my 100% sincere and honest feedback. Lindsey was perfect. Don’t look any further and book her. It’s well worth it.”
